    I battled heat in my nano 12. It was a pain.... Lost a rose tipped bta because of it..

    Use a fan to help control the temperature! To fish, I wouldn't worry about the lights...it is not crucial to fish anywhere as much as corals, clams, coralline algae and other forms of algae!
