OK, The time is almost near. My new tank is up and running!

And I'm trying to plan how to transfer the live rock and fish from my existing tank to the new one, plus the new fish in my quarantine tank. All during the same time frame, causing as little stress as possible.
Of course transferring the live rock first is obvious, but then the water will become very "Murky"...

    Any ideas??

I've transfered between tanks several times and that was never a problem. Just reduce the flow and move slowly inside the tanks and you should be fine.

For what it's worth, I love your new tank.

But what about getting the water parameters and temp, etc. All in sync?
Do I take them out, put them each in a 5 gallon bucket, and drip acclimate each one?

The rocks? No. As long as SG and temp are close, there's no problem. You will want to acclimate the livestock, however.

No. I know the rocks will be fine... I was talking about the fish...
Acclimate each one at a time?

Take all the fish out of 1 tank and put them in one container and acclimate them together. Take all the fish out of the other tank and put them in one container and acclimate them together. That way you are just acclimating 2 containers into your new tank.

Very curiuos as Im about to transfer my rock and fish. I transfered some rock already. Going to do some more today. I did use coral rx on the live rock. Wow what a nasty process. I cant belive all the stuff that dies off the LR. Lots of little white gross things!

In a sense all you are doing is a big water change. If the SG and temp are close together, try and match the new water to the same SG. Unless you don't plan on using the water from the tanks you are transferring from. I would aquascape, transfer the water, then the fish. Are you going BB, SSB, or DSB?
