So I'm hearing mixed things on acclimation for corals and shrimp. How do you guys do it? I hear some people having succes with the 1 hour drip, while other just do it in like 20 minutes

can you be more specific than inverts? other than fish, everything in your tank is an invert.

I float most things. Mostly bc it's a convenient place to put the bag while I get ready to place it.

Then I put whatever it is in there.

There are a few exceptions of delicate things (like shrimp) that I acclimate... but I generally don't do anything more than float.

For snails, John Maloney advises to float and then dump. What John says mine as well be law as far as I'm concerned...

I float the bag for 15 mins. Then use the net to get it out. Except for a spiny urchin

Yea, what kind of inverts are you going to be acclimating? I would say there is a pretty big difference of acclimating a cleaner shrimp to a Ritteri Anemone. haha :)

I float and drip at the same time, but I have one tank under the other so it's easy for me to float under lights or not (in sump) and still have a drip set up. I try take more time than less, but that varies depending on what I'm doing.
