    Are all acro crabs beneficial to the acro? Can anybody distinguish which ones are safe and which ones are harmful?:confused: [​IMG]

    No sorry I don't have any pictures but a few ppl have told me that the ones with the blue eyes are harmful. Is that true?:confused:

    there are different opinions on the blue eyed guys (Cymo Andreossyi). They are beneficial in that they protect the coral and keep it clean. However, it does eat the polyps. From what i have read, a healthy coral should grow the polyps faster than they are eaten. however, an unhealthy coral might not be able to recover from the damage being done.

    personally, i would leave it and closely monitor the coral. if it looks like the coral is taking a lot of damage, then i would remove it.

    See, this is why I love 3reef over other forums. I've posted the same question over there and 44 ppl have viewed it so far and only 1 have responded and offer their help and opinions. But that's another topic thx again to all you guys[​IMG];)
