i know i really need to put pictures up, but ive been lazy about it lately.

    things might be looking up.

i am pretty sure the tissue is coming back. went from about 6-8mm to 3-5mm tall spot of skeleton.

color is coming in. it was a very pale green at the store. it now getting brighter then it was in the store. and the tips are getting blue-ish

    still no polyps though?????????

It sounds pretty normal, I doubt it's your tank, if anything, it may not have been completely healthy at the lfs. Your lights are more then fine and your flow is good. Some acros don't have much polyp extension like my Pearl Berry, I rarely see polyps, but it's doing fine. Just give it some time and it should be fine.

Personally, I only temp acclimate my acros. Never had any issues with it yet.

Almost all acros will extend polyps. It is just that most extension is at night. Check it out at midnight and see how it is doing.

Also... Look very closely for red bugs. Can cause all sorts of stress related problems.

so it made a full recovery. tissue has completely re-grown over the skeleton.
has colored up nicely (t5s :)). and polyps extend frequently.
