    Steve,

    I tried taking some Macro shots but things just keep coming out blurry. I put the lens right up against the glass and moved in a out but nothing seems to work. The curved glass is an issue.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Try not using any magnification, use the macro setting, hold camera about 3-5 inches from glass. It is frustrating I know first hand.

    Yeah.. Setup in January 2010. It took about 3 months to stabilize.

    thanks for trying - I know the issue, in macro mode the camera zooms in on the glass rather than the thing behind the glass
    I can see the picture clear as I zoom in and out and then it instantly goes blurry as the camera re focuses on the glass

    try changing the settings to face detect if you have that option and then the camera understands you want to take a picture of the larger area with detail
