Acropora Millepora Color Change! With Pics!

So, for those of you who follow my (many lol) posts! You would know that I just got a bunch of SPS on Mothers Day for free. This is one of those SPS, and out of all of them, this one has done the most color changing! The guy who had it before me had it under only two T5HO 10K bulbs. The lighting it is under with me is 4 ATI T5HO bulbs (4x24w) and accent strip LEDs. 2 Blue Plus, 1 aquablue Special, 1 coral Plus, and 15 blue LEDs and 18 purple LEDs. Check out this Color change!!

This pic was taken yesterday! The skeleton is starting to turn green!! But the polyps are staying burgendy.


I might as well throw in these before and after pics of the green Mille I have too Not much upward growth but a definate color channge (and encrusting)!! I got this one from an LFS before the others though

 

Nice pieces, nice to have reefer friends to kick down the goods. I've gotten so any free/traded frags, my tank is getting crowded. Lol

 

haha! I had that problem when this tank was a 10gal! That's one of the reasons I upgraded to a 20gal! lol
