I have the oppurtunity to get an Acro frag and I was wondering what do I need to know about them?

I recently upgraded my lights from a PC fixture to a 4 (4x39w) bulb T5HO fixture.. is this enough light? I have a 46 gallon bowfront tank..

make sure your dkh is 8-12, your nitrates 0-10ppm, and your salinity is 1.023-1.025

try to get cheap easy sps frags first.. because you have to learn how to crawl before your walk. keep sps higher in tank.. most like med-high flow..

I have 2 Koralia 3's in my tank for flow as well as my return. My SG is 1.024

    Dkh is the hardness, correct?

I am getting the acro for free. is it generally an expensive coral?

i would say if your getting it for free, and its just a frag then go for it.
    they can get pretty expensive

position depends on what type of sps and so does price,
the other Q's id ask is how old is the tank and how stable is the temp of the tank new tanka dont fair well wth sps and temp swings also create problems.
also with your fish keep up water chnges and dont over feed. you should be ok if its a "easy sps" if theirs such a thing lol

Sounds like you have everything needed for SPS. As stated, you do want to check the Dkh / Alk / hardness and also magnesium.
with 4 T5's I would recommend putting the frag in the top 1/3 of your tank.
