Acrylic from lowes

    Where can i find the aquarium safe silicon? I looked in lowes but couldnt find it.

    I purchased the clear, 100% silicon with out the mold inhibitors and found it in the paint section with all of the other caulk.

    Edit: It is not labeled as "reef safe", but it is just clear, 100% silicon...

    The 100% silicone is safe just make sure it doesn't have the mold stuff in it.
    also I used dap aquarium silicone that I bought at lowes, but funny thing is it was in the glue section.

    I bought my plexi from lowes also just figure the sizes you need and they will cut them for free.

    Yeah thats where i looked for the aquarium silicon but they didnt have it.

    I used the 100% silicone from Lowe's too, I think it have pictures of some waves or water on it... Also, silicone does NOT adhere to acrylic, latex, etc... since its not a display tank just put a little bit of a thicker bead of silicone when you assemble it.
