I know there's alot of us out there with acrylic tanks. My question is this: what have you found to be the best product out there to clean the exterior of the tank without leaving streaks?

I personally dont have an acrylic tank but i hear people like using RODI water because since it has nothing in it, it absorbs all the stuff on the acrylic and doesn't leave streaks. I haven't tried it, but thats what I hear.

+1 on Brillianize. Since my last bottle ran out though i've been using damp newspaper. Works great and doesnt leave the streaks.

Yes Brillianize work great but in place of it I would use a 1 cup-vinegar and 3 cup-water mix and newspapers. news papers will not scratch the Acrylic and the vinegar will pretty much take every thing off and leave it with a nice shinny surface and its not toxic to anything, well as long as you don't accidental dump it into the tank.

I used to Detail homes that were done being constructed and that was all we ever used to clean all the windows in the home because it leaves no dust or anything on the glass like paper towels and rags tend to, And paper towels are abrasive and can scratch the acrylic.
