Actinic blues help

    hello

    i want some D-D Actinic blues T-5 Tubes or are they t8? to go in my Arcadia metal halides but the Arcadia tubes in it at the min are 30w and D&D only do 24w or 39w would 24 or 39 work?

    think they are t8 now wanted some d&d ones or Narva Blue Tubes, but can find them in t8 only t5?

    whats the next best ones i can buy?

    or can i make my Arcadia metal halides take t5?

    It depends on the ballast. First, how long are the bulbs currently in there? You shouldn't try to fit wattage to wattage but diameter and length should be checked. The diameter is the T5, T8, T12. T5 being 1/2", T8 I believe 3/4" and T12 1" in diameter. Second, I have only seen Geissman bulbs in T5 sizes, although I haven't really looked at them much for other sizes. I know UVL makes T12 bulbs, not sure on the other manufacturers. Let me know on the length and diameter, and we can help you out much more.

    T5 are 5/8", T8 are 1" and T12 are 1.5".
