    whats the difference between regular and true actinic bulbs?

    True actinic make colors look better and make fluorescing colors really stand out. They do nothing or very little to help growth. Their PAR is about 2.5X less than standard bulbs. Low Kelvin bulbs are best for growth but do very little for color.
