dood if your in "blue water", its the best you can get. I gotta go 30-40 outta Sabine before it gets to lookin allright. of course we were headed there anyway. but then again at the Apollo wreck 80+ SE Sabine, Ive seen it look green like we were at the jetties. dont worry about aerating the water. I use a strainer offshore, sometimes there some bits floating around. In the "blue water" salinity is usually 34-35 parts. you sure should be armed and dangerous around those rips and tide lines. LOTTA dolphin and ling. yum yum.

That oil spill crap is a bunch of hype. Its not gunna "kill" the gulf and there isnt oil all over. Here is what you need to know. It is MANUFACTURED NOISE. Just like Lindsey Lohan, Lebron James, etc.. Do not pay attention to the fact that the nations debt jumped up 166 BILLION in ONE DAY on June 30th. Once they start pumping concrete down hole, itll be a long forgotten event.

Let's leave the crap out of this thread. It is about natural salt water.

I've used NSW from Northern California near where I live. It worked great. No one can tell you for sure to do it or not because there are a lot of variables. If you think it is good where you are, go for it. Post your test results.

    Agreed.

When I lived in Vero Beach, Florida, I only used NSW that I collected from the Indian River Inlet at full high tide when the water was calm and crystal clear, and I must say I had excellent results. I would use only NSW now, except it's a bit expensive here in MD-- $2.39/gal for Pacific, and $4.35/gal for Caribbean.
