Does anyone know if you can drill the back of ADA rimless tanks? I want to set up a small nano using an ADA tank and would like to be able to drill it instead of using an overflow box.

they(ADA/ADG) say the bottoms aren't tempered but don't recommend it, but people have done it.

Technically you can drill the sides however anytime you drill an aquarium you have a risk of damaging the tank. I would recommend practicing on less valuable glass first.
