Adapter for Eheim Compact 1000 ._.

    I bought one of these pumps to run a BRS reactor with carbon in it. I got everything out to put together to find that the output on the pump isn't the standard 1/2". After some research it turns out it's actually a 5/8" output...


    I know a ton of people use these but it sounds like it would be tuff getting an adapter for a 5/8" female to a 1/2" male that will fit on the pump correctly.


    If anyone here uses this pump, could you please tell me what you do to attach it to a regular 1/2" house?
