Hello everyone, I want to put in tank some more rocks and sow on side of the street big pieces of porous rocks. If I take some pieces of them and then bleaching then burning in stove, then can I cure them and use like liverocks?
And if I can cure them what kind of bacteria or additive I need to put in it? May be changed water from tank?

Absolutely not! Being porous only means they are probably loaded with contaminants that bleaching/baking won't remove, not to mention the fact that you don't even know what type of rock you're looking at. Some will leach heavy metals, silicates, or other minerals/compounds into the water.

Adding more rock to an existing tank is fine, but I would only recommend using dry base or cured live rock from an online distributor or LFS.

+1. You have to be kind of picky about what you put into your tank. If not you might end up with a real mess on your hands lol.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Oh yeah not a good idea, anything could leach out that type of rock.

you can just add dry base rock! from your LFS or an online reputable dealer, not a street, alley, highway, dirt road, stream, knook, cranny, crick, river, etc ;)

I've never had any problems with adding it directly to the main DT. Just rinse off the dust and you should be good to go.
