    that's too bad, did something kill it or did it not adjust to the new tank?

    sorry to hear that. I wonder what happened. Goatfish are VERY HARD to get acclimated in my experience (had a yellow and a bicolor) but once they acclimate they tend to do ok? One thing, did you have a lot of pods? While they are not like mandarians in terms of pods, they do constantly scavage for pods and other junk/

    It was very active for the five weeks that I had it. Constantly cleaning the nooks of the rocks and grabbing pods.

    This tank does have a lot of pods. I'm really wondering if it jumped out of the lone open spot on the top because the fish looked perfect and fat the day before it vanished.
