you don't drip CuC lol they live in tidal zones and are built for large swings of salinity and temperature.

I did not drip acclimate them. I floated their bags for about 1.5 hours then removed them from the bag and placed them in the tank. I did this before reading their instructions to drip acclimate. But I was informed that drip acclimating the already stressed snails could kill them anyways.

If more online shippers would add some sort of detoxifier to the bag it would help. ;)
Alex only purchases inverts that are confirmed swingers.::)

1.5 hours is excessive IMO.Your temp should equalize within 15 minutes depending on how big the difference is. Good luck.

Reefcleaners is definitely the best place to order a CUC. I have made many purchases from them in the past three years. Every time I make an order, he always sends a few extra snails. I have never had any DOAs from him.

Woof...dead snails smell terrible, but it's the best way to be sure.

Also, if a Turbo is dead, their operculum (trap door) generally falls off fairly quickly unless it's jammed into the shell somehow.

Well I lost all my Trochus, and Turbo snails, and hermits. I noticed some dead nassarius snails and cerith. The only ones that did not die was the nerite snails.

Looks like I will be buying from a better distributor next time.

I know, it's just that I was thinking that they may send him a refund.
