    I agree with you, my Petco tears down their saltwater tanks on a weekly basis, they siphon off all the gravel and they clean and sanitize the deco rock, etc! How can they maintain a decent nitrifying bacteria colony like this? I am sure its a constant bio overload on their centralized filter, they can’t maintain healthy fish this way.

    If I am extremely lucky, the infected fish kept his parasites to himself, I did isolate the 1 infected fish, I know ich has their cycles and normally stay on the host fish 3 to 4 days, before becoming free swimming, the infected fish was with the other 3 for less than 30 hours. God help me ;)
