Addiction

Hello my name is Chad, and Im a saltwater addict, I havent bought for 3 days, but I came really close yesterday, and I probably will tomorrow, I am getting nervous, I feel my wife is planning an intervention, and I dont know who will take care of my tank when I am gone.

 

Of course you would like it because you get to do the work and not have your wife yell at you for having another tank in the house!!! I would like it because I don't have to do all the work but I have to put in all the $$$ Who get the better deal....aaahh You!:

 

Ok I think I have you all beat! I am on here talking and learning about tanks while at the same time I am texting Daniel072 about tanks and saking questions! Is that sick or what?...well he is answering me so he is just as bad!!

 

Welcome all to the first ever FISH ADDICT meeting!
I am sure we will continue to have more members joining us real soon!

This week I will start with our first lesson...addictions make us do stupid, stupid things. I will lead by example.

I had a decision to make this payperiod...use the money left over (yeah right!) to do 1 of 3 things.....1. buy new dryer that just went out yesterday, 2. go to dentist to have a tooth worked on that I broke up to the gum several days ago that actually hurts, or 3. buy seahorses.

Tomorrow I will be posting pictures of my 2 new seahorses a H. Reddi and H. Kellogi. .

And in about 28 weeks or so after they finally breed and I have hybrid babies, maybe I can afford to go to dentist....or maybe find a new seahorse to buy! I am saying 28 weeks at least as they are sleeping in seperate corners of the tank right now :-/..but they are not fast so they got to get to know each other!

Next week we will have lesson 2!

Schackmel: 1.) It's probably the heating unit thing...OMG I cannot think of the name of that...oh I had it...it's gone....oh man this is frustrating. Not the core. That thing.....THE ELEMENT!!! That's it. Cheap fix.

2.) Please fix the tooth, or lack thereof. I hurt just thinking about it.

3.) Post your seahorse pics ASAP. I love seahorses. I was thinking of trying to raise some myself once I get a little more knowledgable in the SW subject. More tanks. I have access to some free 2.5g that my neighbor used for breeding. Hmmmmmmm.

4.) And put some pics in your gallery. I just went there. There was nothing. You cannot be a true addict if you do not have pictures up the ying-yang. If we are going to be addicts, we are going to be GOOD at it!!!

the dryer is something with the starter...just clicks when I turn it. That is not all that big of deal cause I live a couple blocks from my parents...gives me an excuse to go down and do laundry....and get free meals!! just a pain to cart

tooth is not actually as bad as it sounds. I am the queen of "do as I say and not as I do" I am great at telling friends, not to worry over medical bills, to just get it taken care of....not worth the risk...blah blah blah. But I had to get a root canal on this tooth several months ago. They placed a temp on it and that caused me such pain that it was unbearable...much worse then this. They said they way it fit or something was like doing push ups on a broken wrists...so they took it off until I got my estimates from my dental insurance. Well I already had to pay 70% of the root canal at a specialist i might add....I found out that I had already maxed out my dental plan! Lets just say therte are numerous factors on insurance and lack there of and is only going to be getting worse in next couple months. The tooth itself is dead...so it is not the tooth that hurts...more like surrounding tissue. During day just mild irritation, then I guess as I eat more it gets worse, but not unbearable so I am not overly concerned. I will go when it gets bad enough.

How do you post on gallery? I literally just get on here and type away and dont see any other features available
