Don't you have a rather large tank, though, barbianj?

A lot of good suggestions. I waited 10 months to get one in my 90gal. As yourself I always wanted one when I started. So I have waited 4 years and 10 months.

Go slow. Mine is doing great.

    Right, it's a 125.

In this case, a 36 gallon tank would be pushing it, IMO. A young, small tank, and a first time Mandarin owner aren't things in your favor, but that's why people are here to help. ;)

I just finished feeding the fish and corals. Here's a video of the male Mandarin eating Nutramar Ova off of the Acan Rotundoflora. The Mandarins come right over to the corals when it's feeding time. I wish I would have thought of feeding off of the coral sooner. Much less goes to waste.

Great tips, barbainj. Thanks for passing along your wisdom.

As always nice image, it really makes sense once you see it.

Thanks, I tried to get a video of him coming up to the coral and eating from the tube, but I had a hard time working the feeder tube and the camera at the same time. :p (Nice depth of color in the avatar ;).)
