    Hey all,
    I'm adding another 175 watt MH to my 20 gal long canopy. Most of my sps corals are glued to the live rock. Since I don't want to move the corals. What is the best way to acclimate them to the new light? Sould I reduce the photo period? Any suggestions?

    Most recommend shade cloth - greenhouse stuff - or window screening. Start with a 2-3 layers and then remove one as time goes on. Don't put it too close to the light itself.

    I agree that reducing the photo period would be a good idea.
