Ok so I couldn't fit all the br I bought from reef cleaners into my 29g, so I'm gonna give my step father a big peice, prolly 5-7lbs. His tank is an established (sort of) 55g. What do I need to tell him he needs to do to add this peice. He has 3 fish, a yellow tang and 2 blue damsels. Crushed coral substrate, and maybe 15lbs of live rock and probably 30lbs of just regular rock (non porus).

I could be wrong here, but if it is dry base rock, I think you can just rinse it in saltwater and toss it right in.

+1, but only if it's clean base rock, and not dried live rock.

    That's definitely a double ditto.
