Adding CUC?

    My tanks been running for a week, when is the best time to add a cuc?

    When you start seeing algea, otherwise they might starve.

    Ok, so wether the tabk has finished cycling or not they are ok to add once algae shows?

    Right after cycling and before you add fish. Just make sure you have visible algae growth for the CuC to eat. They can also feast on LR die-off, but that is harder to visually gage.

    And don't get the max amount you planned of the tank. Start with a small number and increase after a month or two if needed.
