I have a 55g set up with two clowns, tribal blenny, small green chromis, fox face and a pink spotted watchman. The blenny and watchmen pretty much stay in the rock work. Looking for something that has a low temperament and will do well with my fish. Also wanting something thats gonna be a swimmer and move around a lot. This will be my final add so really wanna explore my options.

IMO the fox face should go and you shouldn't add anything else. Sorry.

na fox face does great and he is small. I had 2 clowns a chromis,a dragon goby and a six line in a 24 gallon nano for a long time with great success. The fox face has plenty of room for now. in a few years yes he will prob. have to go. But a smaller mild fish will do fine if i add one IMO but thanks for the input.

We will see what others say, but most research I've done say they can grow to about 8 inches and require at least a 75 gallon tank.

The problem is that without sufficient space you stunt their growth and shorten their lifespan.

I do agree that you are at your max with what you have in your tank.

The foxface is up to you, it is your tank.

Well hopefully in the next few years I will be going to a bigger tank. Think he should be ok till then. But thanks and ill consider thinking about keeping him or not. Figured he is better then sitting in the 20 to 30 gallon tanks at the pet stores with 5 to 10 other fish crammed in the tank.

I'd probably let the foxface go as well, but maybe a nice flasher wrasse.
