adding kalkwasser i have no sump??? i need an easy idea to add the kalk

    i need to slowly add a 5 gal mix of kalk over a 48 hr period does anyone know or has done it befor please share your ideas or pictures please somthing simple here are the pics of my tank

    I used to use one of those brine shrimp hatchery kits that use a 2-Liter pop bottle. I just put a small piece of rubber tubing and tied a knot in it and adjusted the tension of the knot until I was satisfied with the drip rate. I acclimate new fish in a similar way with a longer piece of tubing that is syphoned from the DT

    should i add it into the protein skimmer or directly into the tank

    tank, if it is a slow drip it wont hurt anything just drip it by a power head or somethin

    cool thanks i looked up how to make a battle dripper for the kalk i will use those plans as well thanks again

    go to the medical store and get a drip feed bag like the hospital use on saline you can speed it up or slow it down with the little wheel below the drip tube...

    Ive used standard airline tubing with a clamp on it . for acclimatising some fish
    works really well IME
