    Good Day All,

My 90 gal. reef has been up and running for about 6 weeks now and everything seems to be going well. I currently have 7 corals and six fish. My tank is operating with a refugium, protein skimmer and 55 lbs. of live rock and 48 lbs. of base rock, T5 lighting and an MP40 for water movement. I would like to add a few more lbs. of live rock. Does anyone see a problem with the addition of the live rock at this point? Any and all advise/info is appreciated.

    Thanks.

you should be okay. my tanks over ayear old and recently ive added 15 lbs around xmas, and another almost 15 thursday. as long as you dont add a massive amount at once , and spread it out abit. and be sure to check your params after adding any on a constant basis .

pick some really cool pieces if you can. and then you must show it off to us. :) find you almost have to envision where the new will go, and how it works with your other rock.

Thanks divott. I will (pick cool pieces) and I will (show pics). I have actually envisioned where I want to place the added rock and what shape and size to purchase. I guess this is part of the fun, as you progress, seeing where you can improve you aqua-scape etc.

    Thanks Again,
