I have one blue/green chromis in my 65g now--could I add four more? Is five enough so they won't pick on each other and die?

Yep, you can easily add 4 more. They will still pick on each other though. I've never gotten Chromis to last longer than 18 months no matter how I tried. But they are pretty cheap, so not too big a deal.

i never had a group last, it always ends up with one and then soon after usually none. its a shame cuz they look really cool schooling in a bigger tank.

Interesting. I always thought they worked better in groups. I was tossing the idea around for my 65, but maybe I'll just add one?

There cheap enough to add a few but I added 3 in my 65 and it went down to one and now I have none. There not as hardy as everyone thinks. And they kinda just disappear.

I had 4 (one died to acclimation) and the other 3 mostly stay grouped for 3-4 months now.

I have tried keeping more then 4 in my tank and two always die, so I just gave up and kept two, but they are best friends and swim everywhere together, in my opinion why mess up a good thing =]
