    Hey!

I was wondering if by adding more cured live rock to my current tank would affect the water and/or fishes?
    And,
If i was adding it to my tank that was water cycling(without fishes, just live rock and sand) what would be the effects?

    Thanks.

it will at least cause a mini cycle. If its added when cycling, consider it as re-starting your cycle from the start all over again

when adding lr to an allreaddy set up tank i would use cured lr and if you have fish and coral in it i would add small amounts at a time to reduce stress.if its an empty tank you can do whatever you want and wait for it to settle down before adding fish and coral

    hey

Well, it is adding live rock(already cured) to a tank that is currently almost done cycling. If i were to add 2-3more live rock(already cured) do i have to wait again for a month? or is it fine because it is in small amounts?

    Thanks
    Bryan

it will be significantly reduced amount of time like a week. some hearty fish like damsels may not even notice the mini-cycle.
