    I would like to do this tonight so any have any advice/warnings/last minute comments about my cleaning/dropping into the tank methods?

    Well i actually ended up doing this yesterday. The tank looks fantastic, a bit of depth in a sand bed really makes everything look so much more 3 dimensional, i dont know how to explain it, but it really really has made a difference in the look of my tank.
