Adding new clown... problem waiting to happen?

I am currently taking care of my friends clown that is in my sump. i don't know how, but he keeps making his way over the baffles and through all the egg-crate and into the pump area. One has already been found in the pump, the other is suicidal as well.. i have set up fine netting over one baffle, about 2 inches above the water level. and he's made it over twice. Would putting this false perc in with my maroon clown in the tank be a recipe for disaster or would they be ok?

 

I give the perc odds on 72 hours of life.
