i had one sabea clown in my 210reef, with an anemone. i recently purchased 1 skunk clown, and 2 perculars, to add to the reef.
the sabea i had in the tank is just attacking the 2 perculars! even with them on the opposite side of the tank, in no way invading his space, or going close to his anemone. he does'nt bother the skunk, only the perculars. i'm afraid he will kill them. they stay at the very top of the tank, and hardly get the food, when i feed.
should i get another anemone for thier side of the tank? They seem to be pairing up, will they share the anemone, or fight over it?one is slightly larger then the other.
i tried to remove the sabea, so i can reintroduce him in a day or so, but i can't catch him. too many rocks. please help, thanks:confused:

Clowns are territorial! espec with an anemone involved - you should always add them to the tank at the same time.
Im not sure if he will allow them to stay in the tank in peace! If i was you i would just take them out

i understand your point. i was told that since i've got such a large tank, it should'nt be a problem. i guess that is'nt the case. i thought maybe after a few days, things would calm down.

It's not a good idea to mix clown species as they will not tolerate each other. Adding an anemone will not solve the problem.

Build yourself a fish trap and get either sabea or percs out of tank asap if you want to save lives...

If not, nature will take its course and you will have some happy, well fed hermits shortly... :-[

    DIY Fishtrap

    Good Luck!

i've heard changing the CHEMI-PURE i've got in my filter box, will help calm the fish. i hear it's got some chemicels that aid in this. will try it, today.
it's actually day 5 that the fish are in there, and while he still goes at it, the confrontations seem to be slowing down.
