Additive to instantly "Cycle" your new tank

Has anyone used a product called "Cycle" when setting up your tank? I am about to set up a salt tank for the first time, and I was told by a LFS owner that if you add a whole bottle of this product, and about 2 fish at the same time a couple of days after adding saltwater that your tank will cycle immediately. The bottle says it is full of beneficial bacteria that immediately gets rid of nitrites ammonia, and nitrates. Has anyone used this product with good results?

 

ive used dr.tims with good results. i would wait afew days after adding the bacteria culture to let it get into the rocks and sand some.

 

Ive used "Cycle" by Hagen - used it in the 5 gallon I set up to assist with the cycling
( live rock and live sand used to set that tank up )

I have used it at the same time as having a YTB damsel during the cycle process

I always keep a bottle on hand just in case, as if anything did go wrong and I needed an emergency set up then I would use it

my opinion is that its a good product and can be used to take the edge of unpleasant conditions during the cycling process.

I have never used it on its own to cycle a tank, so cant say if it would be effective for that purpose
