Aright...I am just going to come out and ask this question...What, if any, additives should I be adding to the tank to make the fish/water and live rock healthier?

OK, I'll be the sacrificial lamb :)

Maybe strontium and iodine if levels don't read correctly.

I would never add anything before I tested the level of it.
In other words for CA, Alk, PH, Strontium, Iodine, and Magnesium I would never add it if I didn't have an accurate Idea of what levels I wanted and what the Tank currently was.
Take for example Magnesium I've tested for it about 30 time and every time my levels have been exactly were the Ocean's Mag levels are so I've never added any supplement for Mag

    Ditto what Jason said.

In case your wondering what to use..

I like Kent Marine additives and kalk.
I was using SeaChem and got pretty decent results, but I got tired of mixing powders.

All the Kent Marine stuff I use is liquid except for the kalk.

    Here's my Kent List:

    Superbuffer dkH
    Liquid Calcium
    Kalkwasser
    Tech-M Magnesium
    Iodine
    Strontium & Molybdenum

Most of the time it's just the dkH and Calcium and Kalk I use.
The other stuff is very occasional. *
