    I have this Sump/Refugium here :

    I had two questions :
    In the last chamber can I fill that with live rock ? I have a bunch Id rather not waste but dont have any room in the display. I am using an external pump.

    Second, Is anyone using sock filters with this sump ? Cant seem to find a good solution. With my ASM G3 in there I was using a drawstring type but its hard to change them with the skimmer in.

    Yes, you could put live rock in the last compartment or the first if there's room around your skimmer.

    I'm sure some people do. You could run with or without. If you have a lot of microbubble problems causing salt creep in your stand it would probably be a good idea. If not I wouldn't worry about it.

    The water seems a lot more clear when I run one. Right now Im using a draw string which is a pain.
