Hahaha thanks KC. I feel sort of bad. My brother lives up north and has two yellow labs. Takes them to the creek every day and plays fetch, or goes to the dog park and let's them run free. Too bad there's nothing like that in Florida. All I have is a Chlorinated pool, a beach(took him today; he vomited when he drank saltwater for the first time...) and about a mile of road to walk him. That's why I wanted to pick the lazy guy out of the bunch... He doesn't crave more than he has. :)

    Congrats, they're great dogs!
He'll love the beach, and he'll also love the pool. The chlorine will help keep the fleas off, too!

Thanks everyone! :) I tried to lure him to the pool with little bits of steak, but he won't even come out on the deck. He's a hoot.

Thank you for adopting an adult dog.

He's a beauty! I grew up with these dogs as they originate from my province. Great memories playing with them as kids.

I guess mines an excepton- at least for now. I'll have to train him. The only thing I really noticed is that he doesn't like to make eye contact for extended periods of time. I've had golden retrievers in the past, and both have died of cancer. The 2nd one just last summer. It's hard to go for a long time without one before you're pulling out a pen and a check. :D
