Advice: Number/color of LEDs to add to my unit

    I would add 2 more reds, and 2 more violets, maybe some more 480nm blues. They are very easy to replace with a soldering iron.

    I heard green or close coloros of led's bring more red to corals,
    Just check voltage on yours single led and current (v Am) and you can replase them with other colors of leds with same or close parameters. I am shure RapidLed have them

    It is kind of the opposite, reds bring out the reds, greens bring out the greens. They correspond slightly colorwise, at least that is what I have noticed

    No, the royals are 455nm. The 480nm blues are for color supplement

    Just finished my new project, test sussesfull, cover everysolder spot with epoxy, installed additional to royal blue+ blue+ 6500k
    4-495nm
    4-525nm
    2-650nm
    12-420nm
    will see in next month color of changes

    sorry to hijack thread, but i have same requirement just don't know how to do it. I have to take out 5 or 6 white leds from my fixture and replace them with blues/red. I have already got replacement led from same supplier, so driver voltage not issue.

    but now to replace them, i mean how to take existing led out and put new ones. new ones are attached to star board, so i need to know to how to do and what tools I need it. Please assist.
