I am debating on two different filters for my 10G quarantine tank. I either want the aquclear 20 or the 30 model. Or would you say to just get a sponge filter? Thanks!

I like the idea of being able to run carbon, if need be, in a HOB aquaclear.

Not sure. Could a 30 stress a fish out from rapid water movement in a 10? I'll default to others.

Yeah. I have seen people with 50's on ten gallon tanks.

I don't think the flow will be a problem for the fish.

I had a ac100 turned all the way up and I still needed a powerhead in my old 10g.

Yeah i wouldn't worry about flow from one of those... you'll most likely still need a ph.
Currently i'm running with a HOB with Floss and Carbon, Heater, 1 rock and pvc for hiding, and a skimmer i had laying around just for fun... Wouldn't really need the skimmer but figured wth.
