Guys, I'm looking for an O-ring lube for my pumps and skimmers O-Rings. Can this be safely used for that purpose?

Hang on.... Can't upload the picture... It's called Silicone Grease, made by Danco. It says on the side "stem repair" "for use on all faucets including those with ceramic disc cartrides"

Pretty sure you can use that too, if you need that.

In my medical field, it's used all the time in humans for this and that.

Awesome! I read somewhere that it isn't safe unless its 100% silicone. I'll take it & if somebody says not to use ill return it since I'm planning to do this tomorrow anyway.

    Thanks guys!

Go to a homebrewers shop and get some keg lube. Its NSF food safe silicone grease they use on beverage system o rings and perfectly safe. Many hardware stores even sell it.

So, it is not safe to use the one i got?
My thought was: if its for faucets, where people drink water from, it must b safe.
I guess I should return it and be better safe than sorry. It's good I didn't get around it today.

    Thanks guys!
