    I had thought of the same thing. $$ is always an issue. But like you said, aside from water changes, it pretty much takes care of itself. But, the main thing that makes me keep it up is the cost to start one again if, in the future, I wanted one or I missed it so.
    Its an uphill battle getting to the point your at. Its now all downhill from here. Good luck fellow reefer.
