I'm going to pick up a new Nova Extreme Pro 6x54!!!!!! Seems like there is a great selection of spectrums out there. You've got:

    Actinic White - 12000K
    Aquasun - 10000K (tri-band phosphors)
    Super Actinic - 420nm (100% blue spectrum)
    Reef White - 10000K
    Reef Blue Actinic
    Daylight SlimPaq - 10000k
    Actinic SlimPaq - 420nm Actinic
    Actinic SlimPaq - 460nm Actinic
    SlimPaq - 6700K
    *Dr.s Foster & Smith 25th Anniversary Catalog
What does it all mean? What combinations would be best in a 75g reef 18'' deep?

As always, karma for the help. Thanks

There are a few types of white. The reef white has blue phosphurs. the aquasun and slimpaq are a "true" white.

I like the hint of blue, so I ended up using an ATI aqua blue special, which is like most other companies white bulb!

EDIT: So I use 4 of the specials, one actinic and another called a pro-colour.

Best thing would be to use a 50/50 mix of the UVL actinic white and super actinic blue only us UVL none others can touch them. I have not had time to try out their newest 75/25 bulbs I think and have been told its like a 15K bulb where as the actinic whites are like a true 12 K and with these 12K mixed with the super actinic its like a full 15K I think the 75/25 would be to blue for my taste like a 20K or so . Here is a list of some types and K's they have

Tangster, do you sell these bulbs? If you do can you PM me with a price and what shipping for 8 bulbs to 60451 would be. Also I assume that the UV Super Actinic™ Professional Series also comes in a 48" 54 watt version or am I wrong?
