either way I don't believe the trigger's death was preventable you tank is fine(kinda small for live stock tho), outside of possible bullying I think it may have just been weak or diseased.

I don't believe it was the oxygen level since none of the other fish show symptoms.

microbubbles are ok with in reason, in a extreme amounts they are bad.

I don't think being a little bigger matters that much, that one fish can die when others display no symptoms.

we got the trigger & sailfin today.. put their bags in tank to adapt to temp which is 82 degrees, slowly added our tank water to bag, gradually for 25 minutes..than put them in tank, sailfin adapted well..trigger kinda swam to the corner & sat for about 10 minutes then started swimming around a bit..with his snout pointed up and swiming a little side ways..then staret attacking the top of the tank..any ideas wat it could be?

Sorry to hear about your losses but I am always of the opinion that you have to add livestock slowly... your tank has only been up and running for 4 months... that is a problem if you add that many fish. My general rule of thumb is to add 1 fish every month, no more... others might think differently but I never lost a fish and it takes times for your water parameters to balance out. Test for all water parameters! What kind of set-up do you have? Protein skimmer?

got any pictures of your tank, pics are worth 1000 words. and you will hear this a lot here, go slow let it grow. you have a lot of large messy fish in your tank and to be able to get away with that your filtration has to be waaaay over kill for a 60 gallon system.

Lionfish, tangs, eels, and triggers are all very messy fish. I seriously recommend you go do a whole lot of reading before you buy anything else. I also recommend you read this advice and don't just ignore it like you did in the other thread.
