Great looking tank. That's a 6 ft tank correct? I can't wait to see this build continue. What types of fish are you thinking for it. Never too early to start wishin

Yup! It is a 6 footer. I like gobiesand dragonets, if I could hve a tank full of those I would:). I'm sure ill put in a couple of nice snowflakes. I would like to find a site to order a watchman/Shrimp pair. My LFS's aren't the best:/

I want a carpet anenome...maybe a mini, just have to find the color I want when Tank is ready to host one....

I would like a nice colorful tang, most that I look at that I like require a bigger tank.

My fiance (who I had to battle to get this tank) wants a cleaner wrasse or two, she thinks that they are cool. She likes the "Car Wash" aspect of them along with the shrimp.

And a few I am going back and forth on....There will be some cool fish and inverts in this tank though, just gotta make sure they all get along!

corals I am all over the place, so many cool ones to choose from....luckily I have a little time.

Yup, couldn't believe how many hours it took to get in place, seal up and get cycling...and mine is only a nano! Looks great so far, hopefully some tangs are coming for this thing, keep up the good work!

Loud Drain In Reef Tank - YouTube

So I just shot that little video, My drain/overflow is a bit loud, anyone have any suggestions on how to quiet this down a bit?

I could just modify the PVC pretty easily, however I had to cut it down a bit to fit under those returns....

Stick a piece of airline tubing in that hole on the top of the standpipe

you rock! I stuck a straw in there to test it out and it quieted down quite a bit, gotta run to the home depot later for a more long term tube! Thanks!

Aquascapeing done (For Now), I am sure I will change it a little before I add anything again, maybe not. Got enough clearance from the glass to clean, lots of nooks and caves for fish, Its half live and half dry rock. It looks better in person:)

Hopefully my lights show up today, than I can mount them, clean up the cords a little and just wait:)

How long into the cycle should I wait to do a water change?
