    That's up for debate. If your ammonia doesn't spike too high, you could wait until cycle is over... 0 PPM Ammonia and Nitrite. If it gets up above 4 PPM or something like that, you may want to do a WC to dilute it.

    Just checked all my levels last night, AMM/Nitrate/Nitrite all spiking. Water temp hovering in the 78's. Salinity 1.025. LED's still haven't shown up, but I am guessing monday. I am thinking about adding a BRS mesh screen for the top, still debating. I plan on having some "missle" fish, so it is most likely a good idea.

    moon lights are not mounted properly yet, waiting for LEDs still.

    I am never happy with my aquascape!

    you won't be able to see you aquascape for long anyway. It's all going to be covered with corals.

    True!

    when is it a good idea to add my cuc? does everything amm,nit's have to be at 0? I am at day 4 now and already see algae forming.

    when all is at 0 and you start seeing diatoms. a little nitrate is fine but you don't want any ammonia or nitrite

    I think its a must for every tank. You will have some of your CUC come out of the tank lol. At least mine do time to time lol.
