Just wanted to give all of you that use Metal Halides a heads up on a bulb that is great and pretty darn cheap. I bought 2 14K bulbs shipped for $76! I was skeptical about these but had a bulb go out and didn't have the money for a new one (from the LFS that cost $89-$129). So after reading some reviews on another site and looking them up I gave them a try......and after they have burned in they look and work GREAT! I have not had them but about 4 weeks so I am not sure how they will be in the long haul, but for the here and now they are great. The color is really great and along side of a spare Hamilton 14K bulb they are so close in color it is scary. Anyhow....I just wanted you guys to know. I know I am always looking for a way not to get jabbed in the Saltwater hobby and this may be a great way of doing so....Oh yeah.....the company is "Reef Optics" ( REEF OPTICS : Aquarium Lighting Products ).
