African Cichlid

    Hi, we received a fish into the rescue and know only that it is an African Cichlid. have no idea what kind. I think it may be a juvenile something or other. LOL

    I could use some help....

    It killed the two fish it came in with, and ate 2 medium sized guppies... OH, I put them in there on purpose! It was so hungry I thought it would jump out of the tank and chew my ankles!!

    yeah a cichlid

    It is an African Cichlid, they are extremely aggressive and should be kept alone. I have a Tank with just these guys and a very large Pleco catfish. They eat pellets or can be fed live feeder fish. I always try to feed pellets with feeder guppies once a month. They are one of the easiest to keep freshwater fish and come in a large variety of colors and species.
