Well as the title states I finally found a job. My being a stay at home dad ends Sunday. I start my new job as a Water Resource Operator on Monday. I will be testing water for one of the local municipalities and making sure that the wells are working properly. In the interview I was asked about water testing, "Oh yeah I know a fair amount about water testing" was my reply. I told them all the stuff I test for and they seemed quite pleased with my response. They dont test for nearly as many things as I test in my tank, but alot of it is similar.
This will be a good opportunity for me as I am going to be expected to get all the water certifications needed. Along with the full benefits package which includes paid vacations, holidays off, insurance, I will be recieving a great starting wage, especially for our area.
I am pretty happy about the job, but at the same time I am bummed to be giving up all my free time, getting my daughter ready, taking and picking her up from school. But at least I got to spend 2 whole summers with my daughter.
Just wanted to share my somewhat good news.

Congrats dude, times are tough for many people. Now you can start thinking about what new things to stock your tank with.

Congrats on the new job, I know it sucks having to give up time with small kids, but the time you do spend with them will just be that much more special. And with a job you will be better able to provide for them as they grow up. College is expensive I know, I am paying for three.

Congrats.... losing the time with your daughter is tough, but benefits and insurance and all is providing important coverage for her as well.

    Congrats!
