after dark polyp extension

    these images where captured 2 hours after normal lights out time
    2/3rds of the lights where put back on in order I could capture these polyp extension images

    the twinky - new growths and polyp extensions on the juvi corals is amazing

    the green polyp purple acro mille - they extend well during day but even more so after dark
    [​IMG]
    this feller doesnt show out much during daylight but at night he comes alive

    another one that tends to do most exploring after dark[​IMG]
    this one shows well during day and also at night
    [​IMG]
    and even my STN patient gets braver when it thinks everything is fast asleep

    So glad your corals are doing well and great pics Steve! Thanks for sharing. :) One of my favorites in my tank is the Chili my wife bought for me. By day it's a shriveled dead looking thing but after lights out it's full and beautiful red with white polyps. :)
