    I was wondering after you drill into rock what type of "stick" mechanisms you should insert through them, that is safe for the tank?

    this is the rock im thinking of

    PVC or acrylic rods work great. Small gauge PVC is cheap and easy to get but acrylic is clear and generally looks better

    I used 3/8" Nylon Threaded Rod, and Nuts, screwed into an Acrylic Sheet below the sand (for weight dispersing).

    I used driveway markers. They cost 4.50 a 36in piece at Lowe's and they are where the mailboxes are.

    I plan on using white clothes hangers. A few bucks for a big pack from Target.
