Ok, I spent like 45 minutes trying to figure out online if the verts are tempered. I tried to call the manufacturer about this and got no where.

I need to drill a 2" hole in the side of the tank for my bulkhead and want to confirm its not going to shatter. Id rather not pay my glass shop to drill something that is gonna blow up in their face.

There is a sticker I can see on the one edge of the tank which says:

"All Glass Aquarium Feb 5 1995"

nothing else on the tank. I picked this tank up from a friend of mine to use for a sump/fuge. I hope I can have it drilled.

I never had a issue with AGA tanks and I have drilled 100's of them from.5 up to 550's never found one with a tempered side panel now the bottoms are always tempered unless costumed ordered I would ask why a 2" hole in such a small tank ? Thats a lot of water going through a 2" pipe you must be using a 12K GPH pool pump :)

the bulkhead isnt exactly 1".... and they dont have a 1-3/4" bit at my glass shop. so im going with 2" because the 1-1/2" is too small for the bulkhead.
